Our Repair & Preparation Process
Better Paint Starts With Better Surfaces
We inspect the existing and surrounding surface and evaluate the damaged area.
Appropriate patching or repair materials are used based on the substrate.
Repaired areas are allowed to dry or cure as needed, then prepared to blend with the surrounding surface.
When painting is part of the project, repaired areas are properly prepared before the finish coating is applied.
For drywall, patching material should be dry and sanded smooth before priming. Exterior wood preparation similarly includes filling imperfections, sanding smooth, and priming repaired areas; stucco must also be sound and free of loose material before coating.

Why Repair Before Painting?
Paint creates a finish—it does not correct structural or significant surface defects underneath it. Proper repair and preparation help produce a smoother appearance and a more suitable surface for the new coating.
