A Cleaner Start for Exterior Surfaces
Different materials require different amounts of pressure and cleaning methods.
Nearby surfaces and landscaping are considered before cleaning begins.
Appropriate pressure and cleaning methods are used to remove dirt, grime, and buildup.
When pressure washing is preparation for painting, the surface must be given appropriate time to dry before coatings are applied.

Why Pressure Wash Your Exterior?
Pressure washing is useful in paint preparation because accumulated dirt, chalk, pollutants, and other contamination can interfere with adhesion. However, pressure must be appropriate for the substrate; for example, Sherwin-Williams specifically cautions against excessive pressure on wood and recommends spraying with the grain to reduce the risk of damage.
